Prayer for Mothers
Lord Jesus, Today we thank You for the gift of mothers. We thank You for the tenderness they show us, for the comfort they afford us, for challenging us, for undersatnding us and sharing with us Your wonderful ways. We especially thank You for their loving actions and for the time they take to nurture us with Your guidance. Bless them, today and always, with the knowledge of how important their responsibilities are. Continue to give them the compassion, wisdom and courage they show us daily. We remember our mothers who are now in Your eternal care. May all our departed mothers rejoice with Mary, our Blessed Mother, enjoying their heavenly home.
